There are some jobs that really satisfying, and a Christmas storytelling session in the ancient woodland that is Wrongs Covert is certainly one of those.

Wrongs Covert is a protected woodland and hosts some incredible wildlife. It’s protected status means that performing there is a privilege.

A lot of the work done at Wrongs Covert is with the Break charity – they provide an opportunity for children outside the mainstream to experience a very different sort of life and experience.

Tonight was their festive celebration: songs by the fire, storytelling in the cabin, and finally an encounter with this old woodsman and the exchange of gifts. It was pure delight and a wonderful way to welcome in the season.
